With our experience and your determination, we promise a greater excitement and energy in promoting various dance styles, improving what you already know, and even helping you learn something new .
We offer many classes and flexible private lessons in different styles of dance including: West African - Liberian, Congolese and Ivorian style social dance (including Soukous, Makossa, Mapouka, Ndombolo', and Coupe'/Decale' style), Hip Hop/Breaking, Reggae/Dance-hall, private Ballroom lessons, and more.Please read all of our policies BEFORE registering. Parking:
There is free parking at the meters on Sundays. If you're coming for private lessons during the week or you cannot find any opened spots at the meters on Sundays, the least expensive parking garage is called "Public Parking". It is located at 10th and Hennepin, diagonally across the street from the Orpheum. It is only $3 to park there! Otherwise there are other parking garages that are much closer but cost more especially when there is a special event at the Target Center.
HOLIDAY CLOSINGS/BREAKS/CHANGES:
UDD Classes will be closed for the Summer Vacation for the month of July. We will reopen in August for Summer Classes. Sign up for Summer classses at UDD and get $30 off the total 12 week package of your choice. Call us today to register! www. universaldancedestiny.com. We normally have ongoing classes except for certain holidays. We will keep you posted of any holiday closings. Rememeber to pre-register for the class of your choice if you have not already done so. We have our PayPal payment link for your convenience. We allow drop-in's for the "Teen Hip hop" and the "Social African Dance Classes" although we strongly encourage registering for the full twelve weeks.
ASK US ABOUT OUR PRIVATE LESSONS:
All private lessons are fifty minutes long with an extra ten minutes (five in the beginning and five at the end) for coaching, consulting and critiquing. All private lessons are fifty to sixty five dollars for individuals over twelve years old and one hundred dollars for couples. We do offer a ten dollar off discount for any UDD student.
Registering and paying for lessons:
For fast secure registration, use our pay pal link below and have your credit card ready. Another option is to bring the payment to our studio on your first day. We do not accept checks from new students. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.
Regular Classes/Lessons:
Regular classes run twelve week sessions. Special Family Packages available! UDD also has Scholarship Packages for those who are approved. Please contact us for more details or any questions you may have.

POLICIES:
CLASSES ON A TRIAL BASIS
All individuals are welcome to try any of our classes, on a one-time basis, for $15 per class. This allows new students to see if they like the class before registering for the 12-week package. Once the 12-week package is purchased, there is no refund if the student has taken three or more classes out of their package.
REFUNDS
A student may get a refund after only taking one or two classes, but must pay the early-cancelation fee of $100.00 per package. Registration fees are also non-refundable.
However, we can transfer students into another class according to their preference. Another option:, students can use the remainder of the classes bought as a gift to a relative or friend.
MISSED CLASSES
Missed classes will not be rolled over. For example, if a student has signed up for any of the packages and realize they may miss a class or classes (for reasons beyond their control), they are welcome to take any of the other classes that we offer in the place of the missed class. This can be done on a limit of two times. If a class is missed and we were not notified, that time is lost. We do offer private lessons that students can book in order to catch up when they miss a class. UDD students will receive a 10% discount for private lessons.

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKINGS
UDD performs and entertains for many events, including fundraisers, benefits, and others that are paid and non-paid. We are a business and limited to the amount of non-paid shows that we can perform per year. When inquiries from organizations with a limited budget call us, after we have exhausted our limit, we will not be able to work for free. As with any company, much of what we make goes back into keeping our company and school up and running. The purchase/rental and maintenance of our costumes, instruments, CDs, iPods, iPod connectors, vehicles and more are costly. Non-paid bookings still cost us money. We cannot afford to loose out financially either. For this reason, we require a mileage and travel fee regardless of whether the booking is paid or non-paid. The mileage and travel fee can be found on the IRS standard-mileage website. The rate for 2010 is 50 cents. This rate can change, so it's important to check the site regularly. The total distance (round trip) is calculated by the rate. UDD requires a partial down payment in the beginning for all bookings to secure and guarantee you that date and time. This means if we get another offer at that same date and time, we will turn it down. We almost never experience a bad booking and pride ourselves on complete professionalism. However, unfortunately the world is imperfect. Unexpected challenges do occur. If for any reason we were unable to get to a booking for emergency reasons beyond our control, or arrive too late because we got lost, we will reschedule to perform at another event you have coming up. We will also give you other options you can choose from. Whichever way, we will do our best to work with you. If you're not willing to choose one of our options or claim that nothing else works, please be aware that Universal Dance Destiny will deduct a $100.00 cancelation fee for our time (emails/phone calls), effort, and the expenses it cost us to arrange the booking.
EVENT CANCELATIONS
For cancelations initiated by the purchaser, purchaser agrees that Universal Dance Destiny will receive 50-percent compensation if the event is canceled more than 10 days before the performance date. If the engagement is canceled less than 10 days before the date confirmed, Universal Dance Destiny will receive 100-percent compensation. A $25.00 change fee will be applied if the performance date is changed less than one month before the originally scheduled date.
